and why we use them...

They leave surfaces pleasantly shiny, which chemicals often don't. They're machine-washable, and are guaranteed to up to 300 machine washes, so unlike the disposable plastic containers many chemicals come in, the impact E-cloths have on the environment is low.
E-cloth do clean better, the difference is in the fibres. The cloths are proven to remove over 99% of bacteria (including E. Coli and Listeria) from all hard surfaces.
We never use the same e-cloths from property-to-property and wash with a disinfectant before reuse, but if you're using e-cloths in your own home we recommend;
- A complete rinse with hot water is enough between uses.
- To avoid a smell, make sure the cloths are rung out very well and hang dry.
- Cloths should be laundered every 5-7 uses, or once per week.
- Follow care instructions for drying.
e-cloths can be used with other cleaning products and we like to use ecover‘s lemon and ginger multipurpose cleaner to leave your home smelling fresh and clean but, because they clean so well with just water, it isn’t necessary. Bleach should be avoided as it breaks down the fibres.
